The Festival of Sukkot, which immediately follows Yom Kippur, offers a highly joyous atmosphere.
In addition to spending time in the Sukkah, we also perform the Mitzvah of taking the 4 species, a Etrog - citron, a Lulav - palm branch, Haddasim - myrtle leaves, and Arovot - willows.
We take all four, we recite a special blessing and we shake them.
